Fn ******s. I didn't think it was that fn hard to run a freakin boxing promotion. Why the hell would Pavlik fight Margarito or Chavez Jr.? Why not just do a great fight like Pavlik vs Paul Williams as the main event, and just have both margarito and Chavez jr on the undercard? God damn. Let Winky Wright or Martinez school Chavez Jr. and let Margacheato fight some other bum.

I agree it would be a wonderful matchup but does it really still need to happen if Pavlik ruins Martinez in devastating fashion? I don't think it does.

Pavlik would get more credit for beating the likes of Bute or Abraham.......

Plus, those fights are ones I would love to see as well.

They had a couple of guys arrested a while back for staging bum fights on skidrow. Arum is at least as guilty in foisting unwanted and unskilled fighters as prime contenders. If a promoter makes big money for good fights, why does he try to sell us on junk? Make good fights, and cut the snake oil, Barnum and Bailey crap. You can't sell everything all the time, no matter what you believe.

I don't care where the ***** fights. I just hope he fights somebody competitve wherever it is. HBO better not get suckered in with this stadium crap so Arum will have an excuse to throw one of his big name fighters in with a bum while it wastes an HBO date at the same time. That's how I view the Cotto-Foreman fight. And I agree Paul Williams should've accepted the fight with Pavlik. Because I can't see how the hell he isn't making less money by fighting Cintron. But Pavlik needs to make sure he gets his ass in the ring without suffering a Calzaghe hang fingernail if he wants people to take him serious.

And even if he beats Martinez, I still don't give him a pass for ducking Abraham. All it is is a win over a smaller guy. He gets nothing from me.

That pav/p-dub fight would be a great one..,to have in A/C, but u got to have more than just pavlik Headlining the show even if it's against p-dub. kind of loses it's luster to just have middle tier fighters fighting at cowboys stadium and even if u have decent famous named Hispanic fighters because of the demographics of north Texas , it sucks to have them fight scrubs .but it's all bout the mighty $..
