couldn't agree better, the last time Roy fought a younger guy he got owned, now the last time Hopkins fought a younger guy(Pavlik), he made him look like an amateur....

Hopkins used Roy as the prototype what not to do. You see when he moved up in weight he stayed put. Mackie told Roy he should of stayed at CW or HW and not to go back down. Mackie told Hopkins the same thing if you going to make that jump stay at the weight. Hopkins been successful as of late and not so much for Jones since he still hasn't made the right adjustments with the decrease in his reflexes.

Roy needs to stop leaving his hands low, people know his whole style now, which is why he got caught by Green and had no answers he still thinks he got the quick reflexes like he did before the weight jump.

He is better in a different way... he is smarter, he is more defensive. But he doesn't throw a lot of punches anymore and his legs have slowed down considerably.

                  2 and 11 is ridculous.

Hop was a solid 7 when ROy fought him... lets not forget the fact Hopkins didnt lose for 12 years after he fought Roy.

                  NOW? 11 is ridiculous.

I would say Hopkins is around an 8 now... Much smarter, much more defensive, he picks his shots. But he is slower, he does lack punch output.. and he has shown stamina problems that he didnt used to when he was younger.

Of course he should he is 45 years old.

But 2 and 11 are ridiculous.

I think hes talking facially. I was think this the other day how Hopkins is starting to look old, too me he has always looked relatively young for his age but of recent i think its catching up with him.

lol got ya and agree like i said tho were exaggerations mayb bad ones haha but i do disagree on one thing..i think hop is at least a 9 yes i agree his physicalness is down but its sweet science wich to me means smarts outweighs physicalness and Hop is one of the smartest i believe
