yes he's still prime but his flaws make him look shot. he needs a top of the line trainer.

He is not even 30 yet so he has a few years at his physical peak. Unless his brain has been damaged.

Cotto looked great in the first few rounds off the Pacquiao fight. After the second knockdown things changed. I don't think he's past his prime. I think with a new trainer, the fight against Yuri will show where he is right now.

People forget that a large portion of boxing is mental. Getting destroyed and your jaw shattered makes most fighters gun shy. You start making mistakes you don't normally make. Physically Cotto is still young and should be able to get in great shape. Mentally I don't think so.

I still see Miguel's best fights ahead of him!
I hope so but i cant believe it. Margarito, Clottey and then Pacquiao all damaged him one after another. Like Jermain Taylor, i really hope they both get back there but its hard to see.

Me too. I just see him beating Foreman and doing some damage at 154 division. I seriously do beleive he will fight marg again one day. Hopefully in 2011 or late 2010. We'll see

seeing the way he looked vs pac at 145 was kinda bad...he looked ****in skinny and drained to me...i think moving up is the best decision for him to regroup...foreman is too stiff for cotto ...i think hes gonna do some serious body work here for the win..that should get him started..new division new belt over a solid champ.
