It dont matter, How was Zab not the best when he held 3 titles out of 4, back then he was #1. Carlos beat him and Margarito fought them both. Dont matter what jrosales says about his little rings ratings research, the public saw judah and carlos as the men Mayweather needed to fight. Miguel Cotto is #4 on rings ratings in present time after getting stopped twice in his last 4 fights, judah was still in the mix even if he got upset.

i dont need jro's ratings. i have them myself. Like i said multiple times already, being lineal does not automatically mean the best fighter of the division. Being stopped by the p4p 1# & margarito a top rated & one of the most feared men in boxing at that time means something. Being beat in FOTY candidate fights vs great opposition is better than losing a decision to a 9 loss journeyman.

You know what Floyd should of done fougth Margarito the #1 rank guy and have the champ(Baldomir) fight the #2(Judah) in a rematch and then fight the winner. But, come on really all you guys as Floyd fans want to act like Floyd was not getting flack for fighting Judah. There was a reason why he was getting so much flack, why the boxing establishments didn't want that fight.

I believe the fight was agreed to "in principle" at an earlier date. Yes he copped flack for Judah.....but most of that flack from the media was along the lines of "why not fight the guy that just beat Judah????"
