lol, i never bought pac into this...pac fought who he wanted to fight. did i agree with some of the fights he chose???no...the cotto fight is fine, his best win imo. the oscar fight???come on that fight was just for show, oscar was never really in it, we all know that. the morales fight???cool. and the hatton fight???hatton had a name, but it was significantly tarnished after he got koed by mayweather. and besides the only ones who ever thought hatton was any good were those euros. judah had a huge following in the us a lot of ppl thought he was destined for great things.

I guess JCC jr. would be a great win to for Floyd because he for whatever reason is rated high by the WBC and has been a PPV before, ok bye now

Floyd made a couple hundred thousand more for Baldomir.

How can Arum guaranteed 8 million when he wouldn't even guaranteed ayweather $20 million to fight Oscar De La Hoya or even 7 million for the likes of Cotto and Hatton. And the fact he owned Mayweather money from the Judah fight
Dude even Ellerbe said the 8mil guarantee was real. And, he did guarantee Floyd 7mil for Cotto and Hatton but Floyd wanted 10mil and Arum didn't think he could guarantee him that.

Arum made a mistake with Floyd popularity he honestly didn't think the Oscar fight was going to do that much. He was wrong. But, the 8mil guarantee was real.

And, yes Margarito would of done more PPV buys then Baldomir he had a bigger fan base than Baldomir at the time.

I think he could of possibly done more with Judah also. i think he would of brought the Mexican community to the fight. I think they would of broke the 400k.

Margarito was rated behind them and had never even been on HBO. Miguel Cotto wasn't even a ****ing welterweight and was just about to pick up a vacant WW title on SHO that was vacated by guess who? Mosley was up at JR Middle at the time, the same year he turned down a Floyd fight because of a tooth ache after Floyd called him out

After all this he moves up to 154 to make the richest fight in boxing history, he wins a title against the best 154lber weighing the same as Pacquiao did for his fight at 140. Do you want to hate on him for that as well you dumb ****s?

Now Ricky Hatton, for you who started watching boxing in 2009 or did'nt follow Mayweather. Back in the day, Tzyu vs Mayweather was like Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the fans were asking for it. When Hatton beat Tzyu you would always hear Mayweather vs Hatton all over the press. I lost count on how many people were saying that Hatton was the one to beat Mayweather, I even thought Hatton was going to beat him. It was a rich fight and one that a **** load of people were asking for. Hatton was the WBA Welterweight champ the year before and he was bigger than Mayweather, Mayweather always used to come in below 150 for his WW fights while Hatton would re-hydrate 10+ pounds for his 140 fights.

He then retires for a year and a half because his hands are so ****ed that some of us are lucky he even still fights. Keep on hating you ******s but I was following Mayweather and boxing in general while all this was going on. Some of you who watched boxing back then either know this but are too ****** of a hater, or didnt even care for Mayweather. I know some of you *******s out there started watching boxing in general because of Pacquiao beginning in 2008 or 2009 so STFU about the past that you dont know **** about and look towards the future because on May 2nd Mayweather is going to have the #1 WW and P4P #3 fighter in the world on his winning resume.
jesus h fekking christ you have got to be kidding me?

zab judah & carlos baldomir where never 1# welterweights. EVER.

Baldomir was linear champ but that was it. being linear doesnt necessarily mean being the best.

& zab judah 1#? stay off that a side meth. Zab was NEVER, EVER, EVER 1# WELTERWEIGHT.

Is this is the same zab judah who is 7-5-1 as a welterweight?

              LMFAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

His only great win at welter was corey spinks who beat him earlier. He has losses vs floyd, clottey, spinks, baldomir, & cotto.

              His 7 wins?

              Corey Spinks
              Ernest Johnson
              Wayne Martell
              Rafael Pineda
              Edwin Vasquez
              Cosme Rivera
& last but not least, the legendary 22-19 Ubaldo Hernandez.

              LMFAAAOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

margarito is much much better than those 2 "top" guys that floyd beat.

                mayorga ducked him
                spinks ducked him
                judah ducked him
                baldomir ducked him
                floyd ducked him

now how exactly is he suppoed to get "known" if they won't fight him? he's already destroying all the other top welterweights on hbo and showtime thats not good enough? should they just pretend he's not real? how can you be a fan of someone who does that?

Margarito record against top 10 were 5-0, Judah record against top 10 at the time were 2-2. So how is Margarito resume not better?
