the numbers don't lie. mayweather is the ppv attraction regardless of who pac fights.

Pac is not even my favorite boxer but when it comes to his personality and Floyd's, I'd favor Pac's. If Floyd acted differently, I'd be all about him, he isn't humble or respectful.

700,000 PPV buys = a successful PPV EVENT. Was hoping for above 850.....but 700K is pretty good.

I do get what you are saying but I don't think that audience makes up a large portion of Mayweather viewers
PAC hitting a living, breathing, heavybag. Is far more entertaining than ***** jab and run, and run some more against a much smaller/older man.

Clottey never headlined a PPV and only appeared on HBO card very few times.
Floyd fighting Clottey would be a Big time FLOP!
Floyd has to depend on the fanbase of Marquez, Hatton and DLH to get more PPV buys.
Now fighting people like Baldomir and Judah who has no fanbase look at the results.. A major Flop for Floyd.
51k attendance and 700k buys is only for the name PACQUIAO and nobody else.
DLH was the A side, Hatton was the A side and a lot of people were cheering for Marquez..
baldomir was well known?
you're also quoting a mayweather fight, PRE-oscar dlh. no doubt the exposure mayweather AND pacquiao got from fighting oscar helped them get to where they are today, so since you're so keen on quoting mayweather's numbers BEFORE that fight, i suggest you post some of pacquiao's PRE-dlh numbers too.

KFC is the PPV attraction but Pac is the best in terms of live gate attendance with less marketability opponent.
51,000 gate attendance
3rd in the boxing history in terms of live gate attendance

Like I said you can't bring your awards and endorsements to the table. It's all about ppv buys. Now you went on and on about Pac's accomplishments and yet he only got 700K. You bring up all that stuff if you want but we're talking numbers baby. And in that department Floyd OWNS Pac. And you're the fool if you think Pac really wants to fight Mosley. Like I said before Mosley went to the wild card gym TWICE last year and they said HELL NO!!! Now all the sudden Mayweather is fighting Mosley and now Pac is all fired up. Look i'm not drinkin the kool-aid but you can tho. If he's so ready for Mosley then why's he talkin bout retirement? And listenin to his momma. Get real
