I have said plenty of times that he is a great boxer but I hate his attitude and persona. Sure I bash the guy, not for his boxing skills or lack thereof but for his antics and trashtalk. I mean I'm not one to go on and on and on about *****s or whatever. Pac is not even my favorite boxer but when it comes to his personality and Floyd's, I'd favor Pac's. If Floyd acted differently, I'd be all about him, he isn't humble or respectful.

If you hate Floyd's attitude and persona, you would have really hated Muhammad Ali. He was twice the trash talker that Floyd is and much better at it. The only difference is Ali didn't have cable television so he had to keep his trash talk cleaner. But he was also a great boxer and a good guy outside of boxing,, just like Floyd. On the other hand, Pac and Oscar De La Hoya have never been trash talkers in boxing circles, but they are two of the greediest and selfish fighters who ever lived and their life outside the ring is certainly not to be held up as shining examples to follow.

700,000 PPV buys = a successful PPV EVENT. Was hoping for above 850.....but 700K is pretty good.

I have seen almost all of Floyd's fights first off. Secondly, I watch boxing every week, nearly anything that comes on TV. I have like 800 plus DVD's all boxing that I have both purchased and recorded. As my previous post mentioned, I think Floyd is a great fighter but he is a ****head. Would I watch Floyd fight Mosley? Sure I would but that doesn't mean that I think he is a good dude. I think Tim Bradley is a straight beast and a hell of a standup guy because he has a good personality, it has nothing to do with them motivating me. Floyd is a very talented boxer, I'd love to see him dogged out and humbled by another boxer though..........don't care who it is.

Oh, don't get it twisted. The non PBF fans are not just investing on a PPV just to see PBF lose. Obviously, they wanna be entertained to a great fight as well.

I agree. PBF is good money maker and he can make $40 mil fighting those people you mentioned. But he will never make those money against Pacman. Besides, I believe, Arum is the biggest obstacle in the PBF/Pac fight. I think Arum's hatred on PBF is so deep that he makes sure that PBF will not make money out of his fighters. Just my opinion.

I agree with you about Arum. The sad thing about that is Pacquaio is allowing Arum to dictate his career, so he may lose out on a $40 million payday for one fight because of Arum's hatred of Mayweather. I hope he comes to his senses and agrees to the fight. If he doesn't he will regret it 10 years from now.

Baldomir is a well known opponent than Clottey and he got 350k buys?

Clottey never headlined a PPV and only appeared on HBO card very few times.

Floyd fighting Clottey would be a Big time FLOP!

Floyd has to depend on the fanbase of Marquez, Hatton and DLH to get more PPV buys.

Now fighting people like Baldomir and Judah who has no fanbase look at the results.. A major Flop for Floyd.

51k attendance and 700k buys is only for the name PACQUIAO and nobody else.

DLH was the A side, Hatton was the A side and a lot of people were cheering for Marquez..

you're also quoting a mayweather fight, PRE-oscar dlh. no doubt the exposure mayweather AND pacquiao got from fighting oscar helped them get to where they are today, so since you're so keen on quoting mayweather's numbers BEFORE that fight, i suggest you post some of pacquiao's PRE-dlh numbers too.

Why does Pac deserve 50/50 split? Based on the same reasons he only gave clottey a 90/10 split is the same reasons why Mayweather will get a much larger split than Pac. Like I said you can't bring your awards and endorsements to the table. It's all about ppv buys. Now you went on and on about Pac's accomplishments and yet he only got 700K.
