Hatton never looked good at 147, but he was on top of Floyd for 6 rounds and had the better of him when the ref kept his fat head out.

Pre Tszyu, Hatton was a very good boxer, he changed his style for the Tszyu fight and kept with it. He was a come forward fighter and was aggressive but he boxed more i thought.

Hatton would be unstoppable. I can see Hatton doing a right hook and roll under on Mayweather already.

Iv thought about this many times. Imo hatton could have been the best if he had a top class trainer from the beginning and had self discipline between fights but he did'nt.
Hatton had a gift and had great natural talent infact thats all he worked with throughout his whole career and still dominated the 140 division for many years. He had a bloody good punch, a bloody good one. That ****head who says he could never beat floyd is talking out of his arsehole, Hatton had him good until he lost his head. You know it.

He needed discipline. Whoever the hell trained him should have kept him off the beer. His style suited him fine other than against the 2 best fighters in boxing. Nothing wrong with that.

Hatton always lacked discipline in the ring which was his downfull... After fighting Mayweather you could tell he lost his rag and got silly in there which led to himself being caught by that beautiful check hook and well Pacquiao was a whole different story for him. However that aside, a Hatton trained by the likes of Freddie Roach, Steward could have been a force to be reckoned with, the ability and potential was there for Hatton to be something great, yes he's had a good a career but i feel he could have done alot more under different management earlyier in his career. Some of his traits were just not right to become the best, the likes of drinking beer & fast food & ballooning massively between fights was just not something 'top' boxers would do even though he did get away with it for many years...Had 'Fatton' been more dedicated and discipline i think he could have been something special because i feel he had the X factor but just didn't fulfull just that.

I think he overachieved anyway. Roach wouldn't have lasted long with Hatton IMO.
