How good could Hatton of been with a trainer such as Roach?

I thought personally Hatton was technically a good fighter (not as bad as some make out) i think he deserves a little more credit then he gets around here. Let's forget about Floyd Sr for a second as it seemed they both just didn't get along for whatever reason.. Now the question is did Hatton have the skills technically to become a better boxer with the likes of Roach training him?

Depends, Hatton had very poor defense, and always comes forward with his hands down and thats basically what he always does. Roach would have to had gotten him way early in his career to change his style.

This was the point i was making out, had Roach for instance got him early i think he had far more potential to capture bigger titles etc. Hatton was never learning anything under his management, nothing ever changed for him. I think he could have been far greater than he is right now under better management.

I don't know he had certain limitation physically (t-rex arms) and he did not have the self control between fights blowing up. He probably could have been a better inside fighter had someone trained him from early also someone would have probably corrected the ****ing the left hook while lunging in.

I still think his flaws would end up roughly the same but he could have been more polished.

Hatton is pure warrior, he comes to fight, period.

It wouldn't matter who trained him, any difference they would make would have been minimal.

To be honest, I wouldn't want him to fight any other way.

He still woulda lost against Mayweather and Pacquiao both. But an improvement? yes

He would always lose to Pacquiao imo, Pac is a warrior too and much faster than Ricky. But he would've taken Mayweather at 140 and possibly outworked him at 147 with a fair referee.

Your and idiot , he weighed the same fighting Floyd as he did Castillo 153 , he was 2 pound bigger than Floyd on fight night 151 , you open your mouth and show what you dont know about boxing , Hatton could never beat Floyd so long as his ass pointed to the ground any weight anywhere .
