Contrary to a lot of posts on here,it wont lead to better testing, because as soon as either fighter retires,Floyd's 'campaign' will end.

It has brought the sport into disrepute by highlighting a problem that most probably isnt that prevelant within the sport as a whole, and the net result is making the wider public actually believe that its just another thing thats wrong with the sport, and sadly,Floyd pretty much represents everything that is wrong with the sport, which is what makes his drivel about wanting to clean up the sport so much harder to stomach.

Actually you do make some good points here. I do have one issue though, how does floyd represent everything that's wrong with the sport (serious question) Other than his attitude and his "ducking" I don't really think he's whats wrong with the sport, I think the lackluster HW division is whats killing the sport, but I'd love to hear your follow up.

Thats a very sensible suggestion, It shouldnt be for one fight alone but am glad its starting at the top, If testing start at the top in a high profile fight then within 3 years it should spread to 90% of all fights.

That is also a good idea but you need all the fighters on the undercard to agree with it as well, Mayweather is not the one signing their respective contracts.

He probably should have included it, but honestly how big of a deal is it that its not required for the undercard fights, that seems really reaching to me.
Especially since its not required by the NSAC, He'd have to get involved in all the contracts for the undercard fighters and all that. Then people would probably get all in a tizzy about him demanding other fighters that fight on the same card as him take OST, some would say that is stepping beyond his boundaries and that he's acting like a commission himself.

I think OST on the undercard is a double edged sword for floyd.

He isnt cleaning up anything, This has been pointed out many times. Mayweather came upon something big and now he seem to be running with the "cleaning up the sport" story. He just wants to make sure Pac isnt using anything in the lead up to the fight.

But even in doing so he has touch a subject that actually needs looking at in our sport and am all for it..

it can only be a good thing, anything 2 make sure our sport is clean. just the way Floyd went about it was all wrong. he made himself seem like he was bigger then the sport & that in order 4 Pacquiao 2 fight him, he needed that all of the sudden, after 40 professional fights. i aint a ***** or a *******, im just a boxing fan givin u my opinion.

now Pacquaio raised alot of eyebrows by not agreeing 2 the terms. $25 or even $30 million dollars down the drain just because he didnt want 2 take some random drug test. thats a bit fishy, it could be his pride getting in the way by refusing 2 agree 2 Floyds demands. it can go either way. at the end of the day, both are 2 blame.
