Pac doesn't need Floyd and Im already past that fight. Sure it would have been nice, but there will be other great fights to come along. We could have seen it if Floyd was just willing to follow the same rules he always had before, but.......

Small step towards them working together in the future maybe? Say testing like this happens in the future, to cut down cost they can do something like all televised fights in the state must have their fighters take the upgraded testing.

You're absolutely freakin' right---I agree completely but I hate Flotards saying it's because he's trying to clean up the sport----THAT'S TOTAL BS!!!!!!!!!!!

The implentation of OST will not be feasible for every event---amateur, pro, non-title, title, etc---unless some kind of outside funding is involved---which means never...only for the big fights I suppose which each camp gets invovled paying the bill.

Yes i agree because testing for each fighter will cost thousands of dollars and to do this testing for a fight that wont even generate that much money is no gonna happen because every single fighter from 40-0 Floyd to 1-0 unknown fighter will have to be tested equally

They both needs each other. Last time i'd checked Team Pac has broken the commissioner rules before, and they didn't followed the rules when they made their 10 million dollars weight penalty request. Anyway i'm tired of repeating myself over that same bs, but there's more evidence that Team Pacquaio wasn't ready for the fight..

What are the rules exactly for weight penalty? i always thought it was one of those things that is up to the fighters like ring size.

They made Cotto who was then the champ to fought at 145. Even if both sides agreed, they still broke the rules. It's like corrupt cops working together with drug dealers, it feels right but they're still breaking the law.

                    What would that prove?

That the NSAC picked a better date to drug test?

The Mayweather fight is the fight the world wants to see,” Roach said. “It’s going to be the biggest pay-per-view fight of all time. But I think we will fight one fight before that.”

Roach said that Pacquiao’s schedule will be constructed around his political ambitions and the elections in the Philippines on May 10. “But there is a March date for him to fight,” Roach said. “People think I am crazy but I want him to win his eighth title against Yuri Foreman at 154lb. That’s my idea — then fight Mayweather in September. And then retire.”

The way Roach sees it, there will be no further blemishes on Pacquiao’s record by the time he greets retirement, although he does concede that Mayweather will be “the hardest fight of his life”.

“Mayweather’s a very difficult fight for Manny,” he said. “It won’t be physically the hardest, but it will be the hardest fight of his life style-wise. Mayweather is talented and he’s good at defence. I have a very good game plan for him, but I’m sure a lot of other guys thought that along the way.

“We’ll have a ten-week training camp. We have to work on a lot of new moves, we have to improve in certain areas to win that fight.” And would he expect his man to win? “Oh yes. Without a doubt.”

"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."
