YO THATS WHEN I WAS A BYRD FAN! it's easy to forget how good he was, great hand speed, defense, and combo's. it wasn't until the long lay offs and holding out for money where his career took a ****, more so his wife being his manager, but the inactivity and then the **** performances, i was done with him. he's still one of my early favorites but i was protesting him there for a minute.

He's still in my opinion the epitome of a smaller fighter bashing bigger guys. Roy Jones bulked up to fight in the heavyweight division. Byrd destroyed heavyweights in a light heavy frame.

Some pretty weak examples so far. Here is a great one of a small heavyweight showing what Mike Tyson should have done to Kevin McBride.

This fight was awesome, Mollo was giving up about 6 inches and 60 pounds.
