yes, jeet kune do is a philosophy of hybrid discipline. mma's inspiration is vale tudo of brazil, which was already existing before bruce lee introduced his philosophy.

Bruce Lee also actually never had a fight that was actually documented or sanctioned by any fighting organization so as far I'm concerned his fighting skills were as beleivable as Batmans fighting skills.

Bruce Lee invented a martial art, name an actor who've done the same.
Bruce Lee didn't fight in any sport/commissioned bout due to his belief that fighting shouldn't have any rules like in a street fight.
Bruce Lee had karate champions as students, must mean something.
Bruce Lee was an amateur boxer when he was young and still in HongKong.

With that said, Manny has a good chance if it's a sanctioned boxing bout, but Bruce Lee still has faster hands.
