I'm fairly sure they didn't have headgear in 1958.

    But I could be wrong.

Ok well I don't want to sound like hate on Lee cause he is badass. But I also hate hearing how he's the greatest fighter ever when he never really proved it but mostly talked a lot outta his ass and made movies. Whoop D dO.

I would assume he said this before Manny came around. I'm sure Dan Inosanto is a Pac fan since he's Filipino too.

And for the record I think Manny wins as well.

But maybe if Bruce could have had a Freddie roach like trainer.

And if he dedicated his life to boxing he may have been a formidable opponent.

People are acting like he was a average guy or something.

            Bruce had special talent.

That's what I am saying, Lee was awesome. I admit I didn't know he had an amateur career, but the Pro game is a whole other level of the game.

Saying he could be a top 3 lightweight or Jr Welterweight would put him in the league of Duran, Whitaker, Pryor, Arguello, etc. All based on what?

I agree, he was gifted in many aspects and he certainly had potential.

Bruce Lee was a freak of nature unbelievable fast and strong.

                  His workouts are legendary.

You cannot say this about a lot of people.

Does this sound like any one you know?

In boxing every fight is a new challenge and every opponent can show us another flaw or skill we havent seen before.

Many fighters have been thought of as great until they meet an opponent who exposes them.

                    Bruce Lee wasnt a boxer.

                    Legendary workouts dont mean ****.

I dont care how great a martial artist is, or what the mythical stories say. Boxing is a unique style of fighting, and u cant compare it to anything else.

Bruce Lee's heavy bag work isn't very impressive.
