My personal opinion is that a strict political system can not breed a good professional, thats why Ivan drago type of a fighter will always be a subject of movie rather than a realityComment

i agree. and now that china are open for the sport..its people are are catching up with their neighbor probably not ready for international competition.mao zedong also banned the sport & anything that involved western philosophy or lifestyle. look up the chinese boxer rebellion on wikipedia you ignorant sons of b*tches. Nobody ever learned about the chinese isolationism in school?
there will be professional boxers coming in the future. as the chinese government have relaxed & opened up china & is slowly embracing western lifestyle.
zhou shiming is a flyweight who might make some noise.
nothing pelsonal. just hate.
hey, is PELSONAL intentional? thats kinda chinese, heheComment

i think chinese view combat sports as unnecessary violence. violence should only be necessary, when one is defending themselves....or when the government is trying to control its own people.
oh, and people need to stop using the term "chinaman."
would you refer to latino fighters on here as ****s?Comment

The government of China is lean more towards the amatuers, olympics, world events. Even though Yao Ming plays in the NBA, before he came, he has to promise that in time of international competitions, Yao Ming must play for the national team.Comment
