I dont see why not, but i think he will have one more fight after Taylor probably Winky then he will retire as one of the best middleweights in history.

If B-Hop fights Tarver he will get KOed, Tarver is to big and B-Hop has never fought someone that big & skilled with power, This is a bad move for Hopkins IMO, I personally dont think he will beat Taylor so it dont really matter.
