It's cool to think it was a fixed but it's not true. Pacquiao did beat up a better fighter in Cotto, Clottey just didn't want to engage. He's a warrior but there is some quit in him; Malignaggi talked about it in an interview.

He gave up during the round, it was some kind of gentleman's agrement: " I don't try to KO you and you don't stop me."

I don't think it was fixed but I do think Clottey goal going into the fight was to last 12 rounds and not end up like Cotto, Hatton, and Oscar. He talked about not ending up like them a lot. More than winning. Iwish he would have went for it and tried to win.

Yes it was fixed, but only because Clottey is the fighter that he is, it's not a conspiracy, just common sense.

Actually the opposite is true. Recently with the advances they made in computer tech and 3D forensics they can recreate the shooting and the angle of the bullets lead towards one shooter in one location.

However, the beauty a conspiracy theory is that even if facts suggest one particular outcome, emotions and distrust allow for even the most outlandish of circumstantial psuedo-evidence to convince someone that, even though all the facts point to one outcome, that outcome is impossible.

Clottey's style didnt match up well to Pacquiaos regardless of any crackpot conspiracy theories. His chances were limited by his own limitations.
