I just dont see the duran/pac comparisons. Duran is great not just what he did when he was in his prime, but what he also did outside of his prime, duran had a full career, and what he did against iran barkley was incredible. It was when durans reflexes, speed, and legs had deteriorated and all he had was his ring intelligence is when he showed you how great he truely was.

In order for pacquiao to attain that, he needs to have a longer career and he needs to fight out of his prime. Because as great as pac has been, duran dominated 135 and then won a super middleweight championship fight, outside , infact, LONG after his prime.

Not to mention we saw duran against a variable amount of styles. Pacquiao really needs to get in the ring with more fighters capable of lateral movement, because as the clottey fight indicated, its getting old watching him against the same style of fighter. come foward..come foward..come foward.

Look I'm a PAC fan too...but I think nobody should compare him SRR & Ali nobody gets compared to them cuz they had so much competition when they were fighting at their time specially Ali...but PAC has accomplished alot and had a truly great career and he is up there wit the other great fighters in history and he is a legend in the sport of boxing but some people say he's a notch under Ali and SRR??? No.. I don't think u could even compare resumes of these people no matter who fights who nowerdays cuz those guys of in the 60's to 80's had great fights and had great opponents they had to fight wit..I know some hardcore floyd and PAC fans try to put them at a very high note but still nobody should put them up there wit the boxers that paved the way for everyone else that fights and idolizes them right now....
