People dislike Haye, but he really is the sole threat, maybe besides an upcoming Solis.
Yeah Solis looks good. Can't see him getting a title shot too soon though. Maybe if Adamek impresses against Arreola, he could be a potential threat to Wladimir?

Haye is gonna be the one delivering the pizza face to Wlad, even worse than Lewis did to Vitali.

I would like to see these media reports and I still can't believe that he got a better deal with Don King? LOL LOL LOL LMAO LMAO LOL LOL LMAO Now, that is some funny **** and I am laughing so much I think I just pissed myself. And Haye better assume the position because he is in the process of really getting screwed.

haye is a joke... put your money where your mouth is or shut up!

seriously, no point talking about the contract conditions he was or wasn't getting.

          get this:

IF he thought he could actually win the fight, he wouldn't have cared about conditions. even not being paid for the fight is a winning situation if he beats wlad. he would get the belts, the rep, and every HW in the world would make a cue to fight him for whatever money he offers them.

          dont get fooled, truth is:

          1. haye never intender to fight either klitschko in 09, that was marketing
          2. he has a VERY SLIM CHANCE to beat wlad, or vitali for what it matters
          3. he knows it

          end of story

Not being paid is not a great solution when there is a slim chance of losing your life in the ring or being permanently disabled. Who would support his family and his children? Who would pay his medical bills? Not you or me that's for sure.

Plus a slim chance at beating the Klitschko's is better than the zero chance Chambers, Arreola, Rahman, Sosnowski, Chagaev and Johnson all had.

                lol yeah

                deluded is what you are

slim chance is better than none?? so why didn't haye take his chance, like everyone else did?

he stands less of a chance than most of the guys that did FIGHT and not just TALK

matter of fact, he's not in the top of the division.

face it: holyfield beat valuev so much more convincingly than haye, and got robbed, while haye got an arguable at best decision

haye owes his belt to british £££, from fans that are just as deluded as you are

dont let the business of boxing cloud your vision of the sport of boxing

Haye did make excuses the first time around, but he was smart in taking a better deal with Valuev at that time. He has everyone interested in this match, so Steward needs to give Haye props for that. all Steward is doing here is his part to build up the fight. Haye will eturn a statement in less than 48 hrs im sure, and after the Ruiz fight the talks will begin. this fight will happen.

HAye didnt want to enter into the pathetic 'keep fighting us until one of us beats you' contract and the peanuts they were offering. Cant blame the guy at all.

look at the top HW's internationally

                      http://boxrec.com/ratings.php?sex=M&...t&pageID=$page

Unfortunately David Haye and Alexander Povetkin are the best heavyweights who "suppose" to contend with Wladimir Klitschko right now. There is Denis Boytsov, but he's still a prospect with many holes, he won't be ready for Wladimir until like late 2011. There is Tomasz Adamek, but we will see how well he does against Chris Arreola. I would say Adamek is ready for Wladimir, if he beats Chris Arreola.

But realistically Wladimir should fight Povetkin next, that's if Povetkin decides not back out.
