Thats interesting. I would actually watch that. It's a payday for Valuev and maybe Briggs would have a chance to hurt Valuev. They could almost make it a cheap PPV and both fighters would get paid. They might as well just do it. Niether guy really has much options at this point. Plus Don King has a decent relationship with both fighters so it should be hard to make.

I say make the fight. Can it really be any worse than Wlad against anybody else?

At least they could create a little excitement for a Wlad fight. If Wlad fought Briggs in the states it could create a buzz. It would be entertaining for about 3 rounds. It would help Wlad get a better fanbase in the US. Also he could score a nice KO against a guy like Briggs. Put it on HBO it would be exciting because Briggs promotes himself well.

****, why not. Briggs doesnt deserve a shot but Wlad should offer him $100 for a fight in Germany. Haha. Briggs is shot man but no one else seems to have the balls to sign a fight and actually turn up and fight. Maybe Solis.

Even though Briggs seems somewhat of a joke these days, he's still one of the few people who have that combination of size and power. He'd only have a slim puncher's chance against Wladimir [especially now that he's far too heavy and lacks stamina and the fast hands he once had], but if he can win a couple of fights and look in reasonable condtion, he certainly wouldn't do any worse than anyone else is doing against Wladimir.

There just isn't any young Shannon Briggs type fighters out there currently, which is unfortunate.

Shannon if you want an easy belt challenge Haye instead. Wlad would annihilate you but you'd KTFO Haye in the opening rounds
