For those who claim that Floyd is the best because he is undefeated, who the heck has he defeated? Even if he wins against Moseley, you can't deny the fact that Moseley is going 39 years old in a few months. Floyd avoided him for over a decade but he's getting him now that he's 39. That's pretty pathetic. Floyd doesn't get any credit for beating a 39-yr-old dude. He may have gotten some credit for beating Marquez if he didn't let Marquez go up 2 weight classes, or at least showed up at the agreed cathweight. Maybe if he went down to lightweight and beat Marquez, I would have respected it. So, this undefeated crap doesn't really mean anything. There'a **** load of undefeateds right now which goes head-to-head with Floyd's record: Julio Ceasar Chaver Jr., Joan Guzman, Juan Manuel Lopez, Edwin Valero, Yuryorkis Gamboa, Timothy Bradley etc...I can go on and on and on. That's where Floyd belongs. A bunch of undefeateds, but untested. A decade from now, nobody will be talking about him. Perhaps they will...about ducking everyone he should have fought that could have mattered.

Everyone knows that Mayweather chased Mosley years ago and was blown off by Mosley. After it was evident that Mosley wasn't going to fight him, Mayweather set his sights on Oscar De La Hoya and worked his way up until he got to him. A decade from now, people will be talking about Mayweather just like they talk about boxers from other eras. You can dislike Mayweather but his skill level is still way above the norm in professional boxing.

It TRULY amazes me how people say Floyd is fighting an old Mosley
but still thinks that a match with Mosley/Pacquiao would be an all out
war? The hate and BS is always clearly revealed but the ones who
dish it out can't take the fact it is so. Manny Pacquiao is clearly
ducking Floyd Mayweather Jr and Shane Mosley and that's why they
are fighting each other on May 1st. Don't know how Pac can be

either would assure that.

what lies? it's true. roach said manny did agree to a 14 day cut-off. that's straight from the man's trainer. floyd wants to clean up boxing but has filed nothing with the nsac or any other boxing commission for that matter. their only outlet for the subject has been the media.

In terms of overall legacy he's correct. But in present day, Pac better face the Shane-PBF winner. He'll look bad if he doesn't make another effort for the fight at least.

Mosley and Mayweather are fighting each other on May 1st
to determine who is the man at 147. How can Pacquiao not fight
the winner of that and still be called the P4P best when Floyd left
it to Pac when he retired shortly and Mosley dominated Margarito
to become #1 at WW? Clearly Mosley and Floyd are the two best
elite boxers/fighters in that division and Pac should have to fight
one or the other , if not both but the winner of May 1st should be
a must for Pacquiao.

Wrong! Manny wanted a 24 day window and Floyd final offer was
14 days and Manny declined his offer and called off the fight.
