It is a shame but what can you do? Some guys just dont have the dedication. When Will Tua step up tho? I'm not hating on the guy but when will he step it up and fight some top ranked HW's again? He has had quite a few tune up's already.

the guy is just trying to make some money.
he ain't going anywhere. that boat has sailed.
he's only had 1 tuneup the last couple years.
he has 2 fights left with maori tv. hopefully he can get a hbo fight after that.Comment

Ahunanya is crap and hasn't fought in 2 years.
Tua recently settled out of court with his old promoter, and got paid millions of dollars, I am willing to bet the hunger has gone since that.Comment

Hopefully another prospect will try and use him as a name opponent and end up getting knocked out.
Maybe Tua should sign with a German promoter, lots of heavyweight prospects over there at the moment and apparently the money is good.Comment

I'd like to see Tua win but if he doesn't it might be the end of the road, either that or one of the champions might consider have safe all of a sudden and give him a shot. But if he wins by early ko, nobody will want to fight him still.Comment

Of course Tua was in better shape for Cameron. Before Tua destroyed him, Cameron was being hyped up (and many people believed) to be a threat because of his KO ratio which was close to 80%.
Ahunanya has only average power, he wears his opponents down with a long accumulation of shots.
Tua won't train hard unless he gets a real challenge. Friday will go down in 6-7 rounds at most, maybe 3-4 if Tua is feeling good on the day of the fight.Comment
