Klits are great for this era, but not all time

Both Klitschko brothers are great for THIS era, but not really all time greats. Its true they have cleaned out the heavyweight ranks, but how much does that really tell us? Most heavyweights are unskilled slobs today. The ones with skill, like Chambers, still come to the ring looking soft and weak. Im not saying a fighter needs to be ripped, but any intelligent person can see the difference between having some extra meat on you and being in shape and being soft and not at top form.

Thats not even my biggest problem with them right now. I think we can all agree that for someone to be considered an all time great he at least needs a FEW great wins on his resume, right? Looking at both brothers resumes they only have one sure Hall of famer between them, Lennox Lewis, and a probable, Chris Byrd. That is very UNimpressive in my opinion. On top of that they're a combined 2-2. NO top 10 fighter has credentials this weak.

The Klitschkos don't have the quality of opposition to really prove themselves. They're going down as great HW's in my view but not as great as they could be with better opponents.

yeah , i agree , thats not to say they couldnt beat any great fighters of the past but there's no one to test them in this era , they can only play the cards they are dealt which means getting dominant victories over good but not great heavies , cant ask for much more right now

Head to head they present problems for many fighters. But looking at this objectively no one can logically put either Klit in the top 10 all time heavies based on the points I outlined. We just can't bump better, more consistent or fighters with better resumes because its what we want. At least not if we want to be taken seriously.
