Nothing wrong with it, Am sure Mexican american boxer would pull for another mexican american boxer 95% of the time, And Filipino american would probably pull for another filipino fighter, I had a British Phillipino colleague who was pulling for Pacquiao when he fought Hatton even though he was born and bred in the UK, No need to sugar-coat it this happens a lot in boxing.
