He didn't say he only supports black Americans at all, he just said he rooted for Shane in this case cause he was black American... I dissagreed with the black part but I wont go against him for rooting for an American over a Mexican, same reason fighters like Calzaghe would of rooted for Hatton against Floyd.

Floyd made a few statements in the past that I really dissagreed with (racial ones) and I called him out on them, but I didn't see too much wrong with this one, only that he rooted for someone of the same background as him over a guy from another country, people root for there country all the time... but the black part probably didn't do him any favors.
