NSB, how come there are no more great White lower weight fighters?

Some more food for thought....

Americans were a lot smaller back then. Go to any early settlement that is still up for tourist purposes. I remember going on a field trip back when I was in 5th grade and we went to one. I remember going into the houses and noticing how small the chairs were and how I couldn't even fit in them. I asked my teacher why, and she told me that back in day's people were a lot smaller.

Also Abe Lincoln was considered a giant back at one point, and was only 6-4 or so. So better nutrition and living conditions have resulted in Americans being a lot bigger on average than they were back then.

Those divisions have always been dominated by Asian, Latin Americans and such. Can you name all the great white fighters from those divisions back in the day?

Pancho Villa, Flash Elorde, Edner Jofre etc are all guy who dominated those divisions and Im having a hard time of coming up with white americans who have dominated those weight classes. Not saying they weren't but those were far and in between.

now 135-160 is more than likely what you are talking about, and if so, several posters have answered your question already.

i dont buy the all white people are just taller & bigger. sure most are, but there are still short white people. a lot of them are in horse racing. some in golf. as for the flash elorde, francisco guiledo, & eder jofre that is what's more startling.

even hispanics & asians have always had great lowerweight fighters from the golden age all the way through present time. asians had francisco guiledo, elorde, fighting harada, galaxy, veeraphol sahaprong, jung ku chang, lusitio espinosa, rolando navarette, to now manny pacquiao. same with hispanics. even black people had great lower weight fighters like azumah nelson,david kotey, livingstone bramble & joltin jeff chandler who was great bantamweight fighters.


ONLY WHITE LOWER WEIGHT FIGHTERS HAVE NOT KEPT UP.


I would even say as high as middleweight we havent had a great white fighter. I know we had arthur abraham but who else? kelly pavlik? back then great white fighters were abundant.

When was the last time we got a great white lower weight fighter? I know we got ricky hatton recently, but lets all be honest he wasnt that great of a fighter. I know the white europeans are dominating 160 & up weight divisions but what happend to all the great white 147 & under fighters?

I mean they all couldnt be playing in the NBA, NFL, MLB, & professional soccer right?

well maybe a little but more serious, Like 80-20 serious hate ratio.

probably because whites are more about brute strength (heavyweights) than fast twitch muscles (blacks) genetically speaking. it's proven that whites are stronger as in all the muscleman and strongman competitions which are always perennially dominated by whites and proven that blacks generally hav ebetter fast twitch muscles as shown by the fact that they win all the fast twitch olympic events and such. the lower weights rely more on fast twitch so there's my theory

now were getting somewhere. yes i have read about fast twitch muscle fibers. although i disagree about the whole strong man competition. almost all of those strong man athletic competitions are unathletic white guys. but if you look at football which relies a lot on brute strength, most defensive tackles & offensive tackles are black.

you dont think this 6 foot 9 & 340 lb behemoth named jared gaither could win a strong man competition?
