  • Wlad, at this point, imo, became a better coordinated fighter, Lewis might have a better upper body movement, but Wlad's footwork **** over Lennox's any day. I, in fact, have never seen a man this big be so good on his feet and regain his balance so well.

But by how much? I think only the narrowest of margins separate their resumes as is and Wlad has 2-3 more years of domination left.

              Lewis' Defenses:

              Frank Bruno
              Phil Jackson
              Henry Akinwande
              Andre Golota
              Shanno Briggs
              Zeljko Mavrovic
              Holyfield
              Francois Botha
              Michael Grant
              David Tua
              Mike Tyson
              Vitali Klitschko

              Klitschko Defenses:

              Derrick Jefferson
              Charles Shufford
              Francois Botha
              Ray Mercer
              Jameel McCline
              Calvin Brock
              Ray Austin
              Lamon Breswster
              Sultan Ibragimov
              Tony Thompson
              Ruslan Chagaev
              Hasim Rahman
              Eddie Chambers

I would say that Wlad has 6-8 fights left in him which could bring his career total over 20 titles defenses and put him in very select company. I believe only Holmes and Louis had as many as 20 in the Heavyweight Division.

Looking at Lewis' list it isn't very impressive, especially considering the high regard he is held in today. His biggest and most impressive win is arguably Vitali Klitschko, a guy who most Lewis supporters consider to be highly overrated.
It's much more impressive than the fighters Wlad has beaten.

Narrowest of margins? No. This era is one of the worst in history for the heavyweight division. Lewis' era was good.

Wladimir's best opponents would lose to Lewis' best opponents.

Not a chance, the best on Wlad's resume easily beat the Tyson and Tua that Lewis beat. Lewis was a huge favorite going in and Tyson was nothing but a 3 round fighter.

Nearly all of Lennox's opponents had been previously KOed and were past their prime.

I know why you hate Wlad, you racist bastard.
very good point. you can't judge someone's resume just based on the names of that resume alone. you have to judge at WHAT POINT those names were in their respective careers. Wlad KTFO many prime people who never lost, never even been knocked down whereas most of the guys on Lewis's resume were past their prime and/or coming off losses or have been KTFO previously many times etc
