Byrd is a really good win for Wlad. Byrd and Chagaev are the best wins in Wlad resume still not better than Lennox. And, I don't think Chagaev could beat Tua do you?Comment

I agree Lewis has a superior resume.Comment

Lewis clearly has the better resume of the two. Wlad's resume is pretty good, but the fact is Lewis fought better fighters in his day and those fighters have accomplished much more then any of Wlad's contenders that he beat the **** out of besides Byrd, Brewster, and Chagaev.
Someone earlier brought up that Golota never beat a top 10 contender in his career. Is that true?
I think Lewis taking out Golota in two rounds was impressive though considering that Golota seemed crazy and gave Bowe two hell fights. Lewis taking him out in two was impressive.
I don't know why Wlad fans take such offense to rating Lewis above him. Lewis was a great fighter, so it's not that bad to be behind him.Comment

I will edit.
As for his brother, like in another thread today, having a brother does not excuse your loss.
Like how Vitali and Wlad both want haye now. Big brother kicking ass does not mean your resume is betterComment

Lewis's Noteable Resume:
Wins:
Donovan Rudduck
Frank Bruno
Phil Jackson
Henry Akinwande
Andre Golota
Shanno Briggs
Zeljko Mavrovic
Evander Holyfield
Francois Botha
Michael Grant
David Tua
Mike Tyson
Vitali Klitschko
Oliver Mccall
Tomyy Morrison
Ray Mercer
Hasim Rahman
Tony Tucker
Losses: Mccall, Rahman. Note: Avenged
Wladimir's Noteable Resume:
Derrick Jefferson
Charles Shufford
Francois Botha
Ray Mercer
Jameel McCline
Calvin Brock
Ray Austin
Lamon Breswster
Sultan Ibragimov
Tony Thompson
Ruslan Chagaev
Hasim Rahman
Eddie Chambers
Monte Barrett
Chris Byrd
Samuel Peter
Losses: Sanders, Brewster, Purity. Wlad reveneged his lsos to Brewster.
Both have very good names, but for me, Lewis has better. He also revenged his losses which helps him while Wladimir has not.
No reason to avenge Puritty, and Sanders was undeserving of a title shot by the time Wlad bounced back.Comment

Evander avenged that loss pretty much right before he fought Lewis.
Lewis clearly has the better resume of the two. Wlad's resume is pretty good, but the fact is Lewis fought better fighters in his day and those fighters have accomplished much more then any of Wlad's contenders that he beat the **** out of besides Byrd, Brewster, and Chagaev.Comment

I don't know if anyone has made a remark about this but last night with his victory over Chambers Wladimir has eclipsed the career total defenses of Lennox Lewis.
Lewis' Defenses:
Frank Bruno
Phil Jackson
Henry Akinwande
Andre Golota
Shanno Briggs
Zeljko Mavrovic
Holyfield
Francois Botha
Michael Grant
David Tua
Mike Tyson
Vitali Klitschko
Klitschko Defenses:
Derrick Jefferson
Charles Shufford
Francois Botha
Ray Mercer
Jameel McCline
Calvin Brock
Ray Austin
Lamon Breswster
Sultan Ibragimov
Tony Thompson
Ruslan Chagaev
Hasim Rahman
Eddie Chambers
I would say that Wlad has 6-8 fights left in him which could bring his career total over 20 titles defenses and put him in very select company. I believe only Holmes and Louis had as many as 20 in the Heavyweight Division.
Looking at Lewis' list it isn't very impressive, especially considering the high regard he is held in today. His biggest and most impressive win is arguably Vitali Klitschko, a guy who most Lewis supporters consider to be highly overrated.Comment
