It's just gonna a be a tune up fight. It's not like they are putting this on PPV like De La Hoya-Pac.

To Quote Jeff Specoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High,"Those guys are ***ggs". Casamayor and Juan Diaz are lightweights fighting for PayDays at JrWelterweight and Judah is the most overrated Fighter in Boxing History. Spadafora and Torres are decent fighters but why do they deserve a Shot at Alexanders Title? Alexander sounds like he wants a No Risk Easy Payday against a Name opponent that is past his prime. Too many Champions are taking the Easy Route and Too many challengers are letting it happen. I would like to see another Lightweight Take on Alexander and that would be Edwin Valero. Valero is a Prime Fighter coming up in weight so Alexander would still be the Favorite, but would be 100x more difficult than any of the Pansies he mentioned earlier on his List. But who knows maybe we can get Azumah Nelson to fill in, in case one of Alexanders 5 drops out.

again, people need to take a look at devon's resume and look at his age.
factor in his experience. there's absolutely nothing wrong with making a fight like this.
boxing fans are so impatient. now if he starts to duck legit mandatories, then i'll start talking about his competition. that being said, looking at the WBC JWW rankings, alexander should look to dump his belt. what a bunch of nobodies.

all the other top flight JWW's are busy.
you really think valero's handlers want his first fight at 140 to be alexander? get real.

If it is a stay busy fight I don't see what is the problem. It could be a lot worst

Peronally, would like to see Juan Diaz fight at 140lbs again. In both fights against malinaggi he looked slugish and got outboxed on both occasions. I think Diaz needs to look at fights at 135lbs.
As for alexaner, Id like him to fight Judah, beat Judah then get Alexander-Bradley on

Then have him do it on ESPN in between his HBO fights. No tuneups on HBO.

Casamayor and Torres are shot (Torres almost got knocked out by a nobody in his last fight).

Diaz is either shot or at best completely ineffective above 135 and Spadafora hasn't done anything for 7 years.

Judah is only a decent option because he can still probably compete at this level and you have the built in St. Louis history angle.

But why not fight the winner of Maidana-Cayo???? (same could be said for Bradley). I hope HBO doesn't get complacent again with their matchmaking, they have had a good run since the start of 2009.
