u really shouldnt use nba players as examples. they are the biggest ******* of players in any sport. stern made this happen. but you are right that WLAD's competetion in the HW division is just plain ****. Hard to really know how good he truly is...

Or he could be the next generation of George Foreman since it is unknown. Now chances favor someone failing in boxing since so few make it but if you start of with a better base material you are much more likely to get an exquisite final product~

Physically Lebron is a beast. He's an elite athlete and huge. Would he be the best boxer ever? Probably not. But would he be really good? I think there's no question.

If you've seen him play you know he's tough and can take a few hits.

I thought of Grant as well, and you're right, just cause you're a great athlete it by no means transfers to you being able to box. But Grant picked up boxing late. I believe if some of these great athletes had been boxing most of their lives, they could possibly be something great as a boxer.

Of course is unknown. But, lets not act just cuz he is a hell of an athlete that he would be an elite fighter. Even if he started at boxing by the age 3 does not mean that automatically he would of had the intangibles to beat the Klitschko brothers or be a elite fighter period.

There is not one really athletic heavy from the US which is why they suck they have trained hard and max out their potential but their ceiling is low. Athletes like Lebron have way higher ceilings.

If you start with a **** base material you can only make it look so nice, but if you start with a dimond while it is not promised to be a fine piece of ***elry it can turn into that.

Just because he's a physical phenom doesn't mean he would be a great boxer.

Maybe I'm making it up, but I'm pretty sure I read that or saw it on TV or something.

Wlad certainly does not like getting hit and that has not stopped him from doing big things~

Also who likes getting punched in the face and gut, learning to endure is different then learning to like it.

Big american guys go to other sports, that's why America has some of the best p4p fighter but no great heavyweight.

Big American guys go to other sports.... so do big guys anywhere. Rugby, basketball in Europe, same **** more or less.
