size doesnt win fights, but it can play a huge role in a fight, especially in the heavyweight division.

Maybe I'm making it up, but I'm pretty sure I read that or saw it on TV or something.

qft. not everyone is built to box. There goes TS Lebron theory.

Don't you think if they were training in fighting at a young age instead of balling they would be completely different fighters? There is no doubt that the skills that a lot of high profile basketball players have would transfer over to boxing(size, speed, hand and eye cord., etc.).
And if 6'4 290 Russian Aleksandr Karelin had boxed?

instead of being 12X European Champion, 9X World Champion and 3X Olympic Gold medalist he would have been Undisputed HW Champion in boxing.

      See how this works.

      Karelin>Holmes, Tyson, Bowe, Lennox

      Stop crying about ****

in america we don't develop our heavy weights #qc we so busy trying to decrown the klits. Most of the huys going into the fight only have about 25 fights max. Klit has over 40.

i must admit tho, he is in shape (like most fighters) -_-....
and he uses his height well (thats not a skill)
if eddie chambers was 6'6, he would have beat wlads ass!.... that is all
so, what you are basically saying is that if u were 6'6, lets go ahead and say 7' you could keep a professional boxer at bay? Areola? Frazier? Tyson? Holyfield? all these are shorter, you would still have your a$$ kicked

I'd like to see an untrained 7 feet guy trying to fight Frazier or Tyson, that would be funny

And that was little Oscar who was probably not going 100%, imagine what Frazier's or Tyson's power would do.

If they didn't have a great jab and had a great defense they would not be champs. Especially Wlad since he doesn't have a chin.

Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis are recent heavyweights who would have given them trouble, if not pushed them out of the fight game.

Frazier, Ali, Norton, Quarry, Shavers, Holmes all would have been excellent match-ups.

The Ks are excellent boxers -- we just don't know how good since they don't have ATG opposition.
