Chavez Jr.'s opponent hasn't fought since Jan '04!

Guess they're making sure at least one Chavez gets a 'W' at the farewell fight.

His opponent's last fight was against Jason Smith, who Chavez Jr. TKO'd on the Morales-Hernandez undercard. When he fought Smith, Smith had 3 pro fights. He now has 8. Chavez's opponent has fought three times since 11-26-2002, when he fought a guy who was 6-50-1. Since then, his opponents are 10-6-1.

This is a PPV; they could have at least scheduled him against a full-time boxer.

I like seeing four fights on a PPV; it pisses me off when we only get 3. With Chavez Jr. on the card it's like 3 1/2.
