      It's always good when someone of Manny's stature wants to help the poor. Better to have him in the government than the usual politicians who are only looking out for themselves.

        Manny hangs with crooked politicians, though. I don't think any politician in Philippines gives a damn about the major issues going on there.

          The majority of politicians in the Philippines are corrupt. It's the main reason why third world countries stay third world countries.

          Manny may have a good heart and millions of his countrymen on his side, but he would have to deal with these corrupt politicians everyday if he gets elected. You have to wonder if Manny is clever enough to deal with them. Because in the end in order to help the poor, the corrupt politicians and the rich would have to give up a significant portion of their wealth!
