I agree, and when I saw that, I liked the man a lot more, on that level. Regardless, I still love him as a fighter. When he said that he wanted Shane to win, based mainly on the fact that he was a black American... He kind of lost me. I pretty much hate that bull****. Regardless, when he's personal, I enjoy the guy.

I actually find that acceptable.

Why is it ok for every mexican to root for their guy but a black guy can't root for the other black on the basis of race.

Well, this is where you and I differ. I could give a **** about Mexican fighters. I'm Mexican, and I picked Cotto over Margarito. Mosley over Margarito. Etc.

Yes but someone picking a fighter to win has nothing to do with who he is rooting for. Lets seperate the two.

There are those who picked Wlad to beat Chambers but rooted him on and some on the basis of race or nationalism, wanted the american to win but didn't let their wishful thinking get in the way of logic.

Not a fan of these face-offs, it just feels like 2 men put in an awkward position with Max Kellerman sucking their balls, but I can see how everyone gets hyped up from them.

Am I wrong in saying that Americans probably like these more than others?? Not being disrespectful or anything, I just think its more of an American thing.
