I don't get where people think Floyd is this great talker. Even Shane says it in the video. I don't understand it.

He stumbles on his words. He stutters. He isn't calm, whatsoever. He repeats himself. He uses tired cliches. His voice is shakey. I just don't get it.

I like the guy as a fighter, but his ability to talk has been COMPLETELY overblown. Solid when he's honest, but otherwise, he's average.

HONESTLY, Paulie Malignaggi is a better talker.

Paulie is garbage and he's not the same league as Floyd. One fighter can talk all the **** he wants because he's the best while other guy is a C-level fighter who gets his ass kicked.

Generally speaking, Floyd may not have the highest IQ of any fighter, but he does have a very high boxing IQ. He may not project himself as being very confident in they eyes of some, but he is very mentally tough. 90%+ of any sport is psychological, and Floyd has that aspect mastered. He knows he is probably the most hated boxer in general, but it still very confident in his craft. Anybody who has ever tried to master any sport knows the difficulties of mastering the mental aspect. Even athletes like Tom Brady, Tiger Woods etc. have had to seek psychological counseling.

Well, this is where you and I differ. I could give a **** about Mexican fighters. I'm Mexican, and I picked Cotto over Margarito. Mosley over Margarito. Etc.

The best fighter should win. Period.

Tell that to the fans in attendance at Staples Center that boo'd Shane Mosley in his home town when he fought Margarito. Most weren't to familiar with Margarito prior to the Cotto fight. Meanwhile, they'd been looking at Shane for damn near twenty yrs.
