Wlad's left hook did NOT land!!!!

I guess the wind from Wlads hook just so happened to blow his head to the side like that then huh? Why don't you find a way to ask Chambers if the punch landed to settle this.Thank you for posting these, Dan. In that first sequence you posted, you can see just how far behind Eddie's head is from Wlad's fist. Eddie's left glove is in front of his head some and Wlad's hook is clearly hitting Eddie's left glove in that sequence. The trajectory that Wlad's punch took would've made it impossible for Wlad to hit Eddie in the head/face.
Seriously, the longer you spend here trying to argue this the less respect you will have on these boards.
The claim is a little ridiculous. Give it up.Comment

To be fair, from some angles it looks like it didn't land.
That said, horrible effort by Chambers, he didn't even try to win. Someone predicted that it would be similar to V Klitschko v Johnson, good call. But at least Chambers had the common decency not to talk **** while fighting scared.
I want to see an overhead angle of the punch.Comment

Whilst a man hitting the inside of another man's outstretched left glove can somehow defy the laws of physics and end up hitting said fighter on the right side of his head. What is this, a Bollywood movie?Comment

Chambers' head was inside of his left glove but his left glove was out in FRONT of his head some when Wlad's glove hit Eddie's glove. Basically, Eddie's head was behind his guard. What I'm saying is pretty easy to follow. I'm not trying to make it confusing.Although the TS seems to quite sincerely believe the utter gibberish he wrote, and attempts to invoke the gods to logic to lend some credibility to his claim, his analysis still makes no sense. He claims that the left hook didn't hit Chambers head but the inside of his left glove, which then somehow hit Chambers in the side of the head thus causing the knockout. Is Chambers some freak that his head is actually located to the left of his left glove? Or was the glove attached with elastic to the side of Chambers head so that the rebound caught Chambers whose head then moved (again) to the left? Is this even physically possible? Of course it isn't. And the punch landed.Comment

Eddie's left glove was the closest thing to Wlad's hook trajectory. If you look CLOSELY at that first .gif you can see how the right side of Eddie's head is not in range of Wlad's left hook. It does not connect.Comment

Except Chambers doesn't employ the cross-armed defence. He uses the peek-a-boo, as he was doing when the punch was thrown. So what you say is physically impossible.Comment

You're not following. It's pretty easy to surmise exactly where Eddie's gloves were. I've tried to explain it as simply as I can. If you cannot follow, there's not much more I can say.Comment

You don't have to 'surmise' anything when the video is uploaded for all to see. But if that's how you feel very well, we're done.Comment
