Hopkins was the best fighter that Taylor fought in his career,so how did his competition get better?
Beating Hopkins and willing to fight top opponents is all he gets credit for, he didn't deliver consistently like expected. Taylor had no stamina, can't set up a shot, no chin. Two out of three could have adjusted but never was.

I still have big respect for JT cos he's rarely ever in a bad fight, he's not afraid of anybody & he is a warrior IMO.
No one is talking about when Pavlik stepped up in weight to fight B-Hop.When Pavlik fought Hopkins he had to go up to the weight Hopkins wanted and was sick leading up to the fight.Atleast Taylor was able to fight Hopkins when Bernard was at middleweight and didn't have to go to a weight he was unfamiliar with.
The thread is "Kelly Pavlik thinks he ruined Taylor with big KO".
So Pavlik isn't a warrior?Did you ever see a Pavlik fight?Did you not see pavlik take everything Taylor had in the second round of there first fight and not only survive from being stopped, but Pavlik came back in the very next round to take over the fight and KO Taylor. That spells warrior in my book.
Is Pavlik still hiding behind a promoter now that he's fighting Martinez?

My whole point is,IMO Taylor was never the same after the big KO loss to Pavlik. All this stuff you point out happened after the first Pavlik fight.No!.

Taylor was never KO'd before the Pavlik fight. We didn't find out Taylor had no chin untill he was KO'd by Pavlik.

I don't think Pavlik Ruined Taylor. Frotch and Abraham needed the Knock outs in the 12th round to win. He beat Lacy easy. And Pavlik edged him out by a round or two. And his first loss he almost knocked Pavlik out. To bad he might have brain damage now though.
