Ali wasn't invincible, he got knocked down, badly hurt and almost KTFO by 185 lb Cooper.

Either Klitschko is definitely capableof beating light hitting Ali.
Ali was saved by the bell against Cooper.

liston is the reason why any1 thinks pattersons chin is made of glass.
No the 18 times Patterson was knocked down is why people think his chin was made of glass.

Liston had what? Less than 3 rounds worth of fighting in the 2 years leading up to Ali. So besides being old, he was rusty as hell.

Floyd was a great fighter, he just wasn't a HW.

The Klitschko's are finely tuned, German engineered fighting machines.

People just don't want to admit how good they really are and its sad.

I know a lot of people will say Ali would stop Wlad, but Ali couldn't stop chinny Ken Norton in 45 rounds, Leon Spinks in 30 rounds or Earnie Shavers in 15. All of those guys are way chinnier (and have worse defense) than Wlad.

I'm not saying Wlad beats him, but Ali knows he's been in a fight.
I don't think Ali can beat him from the outside. Wlad has a quick, powerful jab and he's just much bigger. He jumps back when punches are thrown and hes so tall hes hard to land on. Ali wasn't a huge puncher and he wasn't a pressure fighter. Im not saying Wlad wins either, but its a bad style matchup for Ali.

Power is the last thing to go.

What about Norton? There's no denying he was chinny and Ali couldn't do squat in 45 fricken rounds.

i don't think anyone really knows how old liston is.

i still say he was in his early 30's.

back then was not like before. people rarely excelled past 30.

even the few who did like archie showed their age.

ali was skinny too. in his prime he was only like 210 lbs.

he didn't get thicker and heavier 'til the long layoff.

Definitely a bad style matchup for Ali. It would be an awesome battle of all time great left jabs.

Ali would need to pull something out of his bag of tricks, that's for sure.

Of course Wlad is not in the same ballpark as far as greatness goes, but that's not what we're talking about here. I think he gives any version of Ali the fight of his life.
