Hey Tamis, thread starter. I just read this post because you linked me from another thread...

This is an excellent post and exactly how I feel about Bob Arum.

Now I kind of feel guilty that I was too lazy to post this kind of thread myself because boxing fans really need to ****in stand up and boycott Bob Arum. I'm sorry, but I will not pay a penny to watch one of his PPV's. I find ways to watch Pacquiao fights for free, as well as any other Top Rank fighters, because giving money to Bob Arum makes me feel like a scumbag.

It's time boxing fans stood the **** up against Bob Arum for what he is doing.

All everyone wants in boxing is for the best matchups to be made. Boxing is the only sport where this doesn't happen and Bob Arum's tactics of attempting only to get his guys to face off against the sport's most exciting asset make him the chief protagonist.

Arum is ****in up Pacquiao's legacy, just like he's been ****ing up boxing by playing the fans and the fighters for years. He doesn't give two ****s about making the best fights. He just works it so that he can make the maximum amount of money out of it and unfortunately he can do this by foregoing the best opponents for Pacquiao. He is an absolute disgrace to the sport of boxing.

Arum is also cheating Pac and boxing fans of the two biggest MONEY fights manny has to offer, Mayweather & marquez rematch.

I honestly wonder if Roach and Manny agreed to the testing until Arum told them No and let's face it the scumbag Arum owns Manny and essentially Roach as well there his ****** and can and will do only as they are told and nothing more. Same for Cotto and Margorio & Pavlik any TR fighter for that matter. As TS said Arum hates the two guys that left him and were successful without him the most and isn't gonna change any time soon...Arum is the kinda guy that knows he will be dead soon enough and this is his way of ****ing over Floyd and Oscar while making himself money and laughing at the people who buy and believe his spin doctoring.

I say that because of that video that was out...Why would they agree to it then have to act like they didn't., which was essentially like stepping on a land mine now for both...unless the boss said NOPE. Which may be the case for reasons known only to Arum if it's true.

Looking at it from your point of view maybe you're right, I mean someone like Roach or Koncz would not go on camera and say how they would take the test then back later like they never agree to it unless he has something to do with Arum, I think i was ****** in by Arum's interview right after the Pacquiao-Cotto fight with Boxing-talk where he said he would do anything to make the fight and how he would never deny fighting fans a fight like the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight because he was ready to put aside any bad feelings he has towards Mayweather just to make the fight for the fans..
