      It's true! Hence my thread!

Filipinos tend to take the long road to overseeing debt of gratitude, and Manny's no different, in fact it's the best trait any filipino can have, but when abused it could go ugly.

Right now every boxer alive wants a shot at the best fighter in the world today, and some even will go lengths just to have a shot at Manny.

With the recent moves of Top Rank, It can be seen that they want Manny to fight Top Rank's In-house fighters. And since Manny's the cashcow of TR and the current face of boxing (alongside Floyd just to be fair) every boxer wants a chance for a big payday. And of course, the stand of no extra testing will not be entertained by Team Pacquiao unless of course the commision says so.

Now Arum is going on the record that he wants Antonio Margarito or Edwin Valero to fight Manny in the future, which raised an uproar in boxing fans. These fighters are willing to fight Manny without the OST, and i bet you a lotta fighters out there are willing to swim as well.

A lotta people are slammin' Freddie Roach for his big mouth, but people fail to see that even he is telling Manny to retire while on top of the boxing world! Not sure if this is called ducking anyone as some might claim but you might wanna see the angle where Roach just doesn't want Manny to be exploited as well, heck, just look what happened to Amir Khan, where did he sign up? He's prolly got no balls enough to say it to Arum or he don't want to go ahead with Manny's decisions. ODOH, Arum tells everyone that Manny can't retire even if he makes it at The Philippine Congress because of a lotta money to consider.

What i see in the current events that Arum's declarations right now, though INDIRECTLY, is if they want a piece of The Pacman, it's either they do not request additional testing more than the commision requires, or the hard route of JOINING TOP RANK'S STABLE.

TR always wanted ahead of GBP in terms of fighters they promote, but I think in the situation where Manny's in right now, I think Team Pacquiao doesn't realize that Pacquiao is exploited for Arums' and TR's benefit. This situation might not be evident yet but do not forget that Manny's thinking retirement already, and this scumbag Arum's cookin' up a last hurrah for tons of millions of cash from Pacquiao.

It's all win-win for TR, they give Margarito a chance if ever (I honestly don't think he deserves one) or making Edwin Valero the next for TR, then if future boxing prospects wanna have a piece as well and joined TR to beef up its in-house fighters, all at the same time spiting GBP and Floyd!

I'm just thinkin' how i saw it but could be wrong. But ARUM is a sandbag scumfart that's for sure! I hope with Manny Pacquiao Promotions on the swing they could realize all of this, build on it and leave TR, just like what ODLH did, and did quite successfully.

        Your thoughts guys...

I think this is a little far fetched.

I doubt Manny is crying his woes about how Arum is exploiting him...from his Multi-Million Dollar Compound mind you...lol. All Arum can do for these fighters is give them the opportunity. Guys like Cotto and Pacquiao have all fought the best of the best, been on PPV, and have good numbers at the gate. With Pacquiao, he's been able to capture the public's imagination which has led him to get endorsement deals and become a popular figure WORLDWIDE.

****...exploit me all you want lol.

Who cares? LOL are you his accountant?

I'm not even Pac's biggest fan, but who cares if he's cutting Arum 27% or 57%. Keep in mind that guys like Oscar and Floyd were both once promoted by Arum and they went their separate ways to gain more money. With Pacquiao, the dude came from nothing and has built up a nice bank account that many here will never rival, so what's the big deal? Because he's not gonna start "Pacquiao Promotions"? LOL

Plus, nobody on here has Manny's contract with Top Rank to provide proof of numbers, you're just going by what another fighter opposing Manny stated. So in turns, how does this effect Manny if he's still the most revered fighter in the sport today? It's like you're hating just in spite...for what?
