the prescott argument is old...
that guy knew how to punch and got him flush in the first round. there's plenty of boxing legends who have suffered the same fate, and then later became champions.
i'm not saying khan will be a champion (he isn't yet on my watch), i'm just saying stop being obsessed with perfect records.
that prescott punch, the way it came and everything, would have knocked a few good fighters out.

Its going to be funny as hell if feather fisted Pauli KO's glass jawed Khan. Realistically I bet Pauli boxes his socks off and makes fun of him while doing it.

Pauli by UD. Khan cant KO him and wont outbox him, let a lone catch him. Khan is overly hyped. Potential is there though. Pauli is just more experienced but a great test for him.

Paulie ain't no bum, he's a very skilled and talented fighter, it's just that he can't punch.

To scare Khan and make him respect you you ABSOLUTELY need power. If you count on pure skills and speed ya better be GREAT at it; like a Floyd or a Bradley. Paulie isn't faster and skillwise it's pretty close. He doesn't have enough power and strength to counter Khan's mad speed and power.

Hell give Khan props for stepping up so early. Too many British fighters hide around Europe util they are 30+, Khan is putting his money where his mouth is.

Paulie is not a bum. Light fisted, yes, but superbly skilled and very fast. Wins over Diaz, Ndou etc and a former world champion.

It is a risk, but that's good, it's the way boxing should be. Sick of seeing over-hyped fighters hand picking opponents to build up there reputation. If Kahn pulls off an impressive victory he will have earned it.
