Clottey did the right thing in the PacMan fight

Agreed. However, the implication that he's from "Africa" (what country is that??) and that "When african fighters get to a stage like this they alway lack motivation because the money they are making on that fight would set them up for life back in africa" is utterly absurd.

BTW you guys act like Clottey didnt try. He gave it his best and fought a style he thought would give him the best chance to win. Think about it, Hatton tried to brawl and got crushed, Oscar tried to outthink him..got crushed, Cotto tried to outbox him, go to the body, then bully him around....got crushed. So all these styles people tried to use against Pac didn't work, and clottey knew it. Clottey tried to sit back and counter, got overwhelmed and eventually got shutout.

Everyone that gets in the ring to be deserves credit, But you dont fight at the top level without trying to take risk, What clottey did might be trying to you but he didnt go in there with a mentality that suggest he wanted to win so no he actually fought a style that would make him survive.
