If I could pick 3 people to walk into a bar with it would be: Margarito, Maidana, and Mayorga.

I can see Rich Loc beating him but he'd be on pins and needles for some rounds.

Loccy by ko in 8 or Loccy ko'ed in 2.

I don't see it going to a decision

Don't give me that "no skill" bull****.

You don't beat Vernon Forrest 2x if you got no skills.

And Maidana's chin is granite. Ortiz punches like a mule and Maidana ate it like tic tacs.

I'll take Maidana, Margarito and Mayorga over your pansy ass "favorites" list.

Bradley is a G, but the rest are *******.
The guys on his list have a much longer staying power. You may not enjoy their style but it is the ultimate style if you want to last long in the fight game. The guys you mention are good fighters and will always get decent fights, because they are crowd pleasing, but only a few of those guys can truly compete with the very best for long periods of time. If you are a brawler you best have a great chin or else you are going to eat shots and get floored. One of the reasons Margarito lasted a long time, his chin allowed him to walk through guys. Mayorgas chin wasn't amazing and that's why he could of never stayed at the top.

LOL...I give my opinion on one of your favorite fighters and you start acting like a girl? I thought only Pacquiao and Mayweather fanboys were like this. Just based on that alone, I'll grant you with this one reply and then let you have a temper tantrum with yourself afterwards because I won't bother with it.

Yes Mayorga did beat Forrest, but that was a good style and gameplan. He took Forrest's best punches and attacked him, which worked very effectively. But what happened whenever he faced very skilled boxers who weren't zombies, for an example Trinidad and De La Hoya? He got knocked the f**k out. He barely even beat a shot Vargas...Oh, and for the record, many people think Forrest won the rematch.

As for Margarito, the same applies. He beat Cotto the same way Mayorga beat Forrest. He took his best shots with his amazing chin and then took him out afterwards. But what happened when he faced great boxers like Mosley, Williams and Clottey? He either got dominated or barely won. Heck even Daniel Santos beat him. The only good technical boxer he beat was Sergio Martinez, and but that was a very green Martinez who didn't even have 20 fights on his resume yet.

As for Maidana, how did he take Ortiz's best shots when he was dropped three times? And Kotelnik proved that he could be thoroughly outboxed. Put him in the ring with Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Ortiz again or pretty much any good boxer in that division and I guarantee he'll lose. He has an entertaining style, but that can only get you so far. Ask Gatti.

As for you criticizing my list of favorite fighters, I could care less what you think. It just proves how immature you are...

Mayorga's chin was amazing. Its proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Maidana got up right? Daniel Santos didn't beat Margarito. Margarito was up on all cards both times the fights got stopped due to Santos headbutts.

You can talk **** about pressure fighters all you want and make excuses as to why they win fights, but the fact of the matter is that they win fights.

Whether its cuz' of chin or power or both, they still beat "technical" boxers all the time.

Mayorga beat Forrest in the rematch cuz' he was so amazingly powerful that he had a world class fighter running and holding all night.

You call that having "no skill" then so be it. But it works and it works often.

And it gives the fans their moneys worth on top of it.

BTW, Margarito didn't "barely" beat Clottey.

              He wiped him out.

Williams was lucky Margarito didnt' get going until the 6th round. I'd pick Tony to beat him in a rematch.

I thought HBO offered him a two-fight deal if he stayed away from Khan for at least a year? Did that turn out to be untrue?

There is a reason he won't rematch Ortiz, and thats because he knows, he knows he was hurt, he was in trouble, and he knows he got lucky.

There is a reason he didn't enforce his mandatory against Khan, and it's because he knows, the speed and power would be way too much for him.

Maidana is complete and utter CRAP people, so can we please shut up about him for **** sake!
If this is the case, why is HBO paying him off to avoid his mandatory shot and stay away from Khan? Apparently they have a much higher opinion of him than you do.

How long before Arum puts Valero in there against Maidana?

I think one of the most slept on bouts for HBO championship boxing is Valero vs. Maidana. If they both keep winning then I feel that the HBO matchmakers will tap into this latino slugfest for sure; Valero has shown me that he can box in his last fight however. I really don't care about Khan . . . let him fight Ortiz lol. It is Maidana vs. Valero which makes the most sense in a demographic standpoint for 2011 as long as they both can keep winning; HBO will be all over this one beleive it.
