Marcos Maidana is HILLARIOUSLY overrated!

Kotelnik gave away the first four rounds to Maidana, and still beat him.

Yes, I do think Maidana is overrated.

But he's pretty exciting except when he's getting his head boxed off like in the Kotelnik fight.

Honestly, this guy makes it seem like people are sleeping on Edwin Valero by comparison!

He has a dodgy chin, which he thrusts out in front of him, to absorb oncoming fire.

There is a reason he won't rematch Ortiz, and thats because he knows, he knows he was hurt, he was in trouble, and he knows he got lucky.

There is a reason he didn't enforce his mandatory against Khan, and it's because he knows, the speed and power would be way too much for him.

Maidana is complete and utter CRAP people, so can we please shut up about him for **** sake!

There's nothing really special about Maidana. He's got heavy hands but that's about it and I don't expect him to be a champion for very long. Valero has more talent than him, for sure. Valero also will not be some long reigning champion though. Both decent fighters but I doubt they amount to anything special or long term.

I agree 100%. Seriously, dude was close to quiting against Ortiz himself. Too bad Ortiz didn't gamble on another right hook.
