It will be a sad day for boxing when Floyd dismantles Pacquiao Gatti style.

i think maybe Floyd at his very best could dismantly Pacquiao, but although I thought Floyds skills looked as silky as ever against JMM, I will wait until May 2nd before I make judgement on post-retirement Floyd.

If Floyd puts in his best WW performance then he might be able to school Pac. Pacquiao will represent a totally different animal and I can only hope their fight would be as good as Pacs fights with JMM.

Gatti got tremendous heart and delivered exciting bouts no doubt. Nevertheless everyone knew that he was kinda gatekeeper. I'd say the real test was Hatton. And we know what PBF did to Fatton.

LOL Gatti and Pacman are not in the same galaxy. Pac would KO Gatti like an amateur.

Did Gatti knock out an opponent Floyd took 10 or 11 rounds to stop, in 2 rounds?

Did Gatti stop DLH in 8 rounds? No, Floyd took him the distance and barely won.

Did Gatti stop an opponent Floyd wouldn't even fight either? No. Pacman stopped Cotto.

I agree the hype for Gatti in the Mayweather fight was a bit exaggerated, but this is a more educated hyping for pacquiao.

It's funny, Mayeather fans are confident when the fact is that Mayweather doesn't have that power to trouble Pac's chin. Expect Pac to go ape **** in the fight when he found out that Mayweather doesn't have the power to trouble him.

I see a Pac beating May on knockout.
This is one of the biggest myths I've read here.

The commentary was beyond disgusting. They worshiped Pac like he was the second coming Jesus Christ himself. It was so over the top it was hard to listen to mind you the previous times I had the volume off so I could score accurately but my goodness that commentary was awful.

The praise and worship these guys gave made me uncomfortable. It was truly pathetic. The "****, **** " topped it off. Kellerman, Lederman, Lampley and Steward slobbed him for 36 minutes straight no breaks to breathe.

Mayweather knows how beloved Pac is and hes aware of the high horse hes been placed on by these commentators and writers. If he can ever get this guy to sign the contract he is going to piss on every thing he stands for. The more you guys hype up Pac as this unstoppable force who is as great as Ali and Armstrong the better Floyd will look when he dominates him and makes it look easy.

This isnt a flame thread if you think Pac will KO him in 3 rounds. Great. Cute. More power to you. Im just telling you it will be a sad day when Floyd destroys him.

Kind of reminds me of the Gatti build up when Gatti was so praised for his wars and Floyd wasnt getting any shine and he told everyone he was gon embarrass him in front of his own fanbase.

If the fight happens, I predict that, around the 8th round, Larry Merchant (if he is allowed to broadcast the fight) will start complaining about how boring the fight is as Floyd is dominating Pac and making his look foolish. He did this in the 9th round of the Baldomir fight after predicting before the fight that Baldomir was too strong for Mayweather and rooting for Baldomir the entire fight until he realized that Baldomir could not win.

While I think Mayweather will beat Pac, I doubt he'll "Gatti" him. Gatti vs. Mayweather is one of the worst hyped up mismatches I've ever seen. Pacquiao is no Gatti.

Yeah Pac is a great fighter no doubt. My beef was the commentary and how they acted like he was Jesus it was hard to listen to bro. Then Im saying the last time a fighter was praised like this at Floyds expense was Gatti and the aggression and angered he carried into the ring was beacsue of that. Thats all Im saying. Not you but alot of posters in here crying like like I said Pac sucks. This thread is about the commentary.
