If Floyd beat the top 20 at LW back in the day, he'd still be criticized...

Corrales and Castillo are better than anyone Floyd could have fought back then (who lost to Corrales twice and Castillo)

Casamayor lost to Corrales and Castillo but he's a solid fighter...

Thats not true. I have no problems with Floyds competition at the lower weights. This is about him post Castillo.

          Dumbass

******* need some help. They started following boxing in 2009
Is that why we're talking about a fight from 2005??

He has been careful about not losing his unbeaten record.
I mean no disrespect to his fans but this is how this historian feels.
          Incredibly powerful and insightful post.

This perspective from someone who has seen the evolution of the sport spanning generations of fighters says it all.

I don't know. But Floyd has the stylistic and age advantages.

                    And the promotional advantage.

                    Clearly.
