key factors: 1. pac fought marquez twice in great, exciting fights.
      2. pac's boring fight was against a big WW, floyd was vs a LW.
      3. Pac tried to make his fight exciting, JMM tried to make his fight exciting.
They were both boring one was boring because of floyd the other because of clottey and i would still say that the pac/clottey fight was better to watch.

Mayweather vs. Marquez. There were punches thrown by both fighters in that fight. Only one man was throwing punches in Pacquiao vs. Clottey.

If this is what you want here:

Manny tried his hardest to make it a fight AND is known to be in nothing but action fights. It is not his fault Clottey ****** all the life out of the fight.

Yeah but if it counts for anything Floyd admitted that it was a tune-up and he just wanted to get the rounds in.

Either way, JMM-Floyd was 30x more exciting than Pac-Clottey. The most exciting thing about Pac-Clottey was "****, ****, ****, ****!"

They were both poor fights. But I'd have to say Pac vs Clottey. More action I guess???

At least Clottey had a chance to win which he didn't cap size on. Marquez had no chance.

I think thats the only thing going for the Mayweather JMM fight in that no one told JMM he couldn't win and kept trying from opening to closing bell. Also, IMO, in a true skillset JMM is miles better than Clottey so a bit of thinking had to go on between Mayweather and Marquez.

but IMO its still Manny vs Clottey because of the effort put forth by Manny

I say the Mayweather-Marquez fight was more exciting. It was amazing seeing Floyd's quick reflexes and counterpunching. Marquez was trying.

The Pac-Clottey fight was not exciting because Pac was punching and Clottey was blocking. There were barely any clean punches landed by any fighter.

However, Pac did get some good body work towards the end; but most of his punches were blocked. Clottey came for a paycheck; not a belt.
