Like I said weeks ago. This fight should have been FREE in HBO. Hell maybe even on a local network. I am one of the smart ones that would not buy it. Now from reading all these reports, I probably wont watch it for free this weekend on HBO.

pacqiuao is a draw no matter who he fights!700 thousand ppv buys tells you alot about pacqiuaos drawing power!mayweather needs to fight a star top fighter in order to draw,if mayweather would of fought clotty nobody would of supported it like they did for pacqiaou.only 250 thousand would of watched mayweather vs clotty.this tells you clearly that pacquiao is the draw! 700 thousand ppv buys tells you pacqiuao is a huge draw by himself,with out fighting a star!wake up gayweather fans!!

Floyd Mayweather brought in a million P.P.V. when he fought against Marquez. Pacquiano fought Marquez twice and didn't bring in a million buys in either one of those fights. Now we see Pacquiano 700 to 800 thousand pay per view buys with this fight. Clearly, the American fighter Floyd Mayweather is the bigger star. Even when you compare the P.P.V. numbers that Mayweather had with Hatton and Oscar with the numbers that Pacquiano had with them, we see that Mayweather is by for superior. It's time for us to stop being prejudice and to stop hating on the American fighter Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather is the biggest super star in boxing today. All roads lead to Money Mayweather.

I agree! they are both big draws alone but PBF is the biggest draw in boxing...IMO ppl buy his ppv jus to see him lose that cuz PBF plays the bad guy role really well smh to all the dumb ass ppl who cant she how PBF sells himself love or hate publicity is publicity.

Is a impresive number expecially for a one man show trust me no one was excited going 2 see gomez vs castillo or my guy from chitown against soto it was just a one man show but i think mayweather vs mosley will do better

We don't know what the numbers are yet. The 700,000 figure is Bob Arum's guess, nothing more. He guessed that Cotto/Pac would do 1.6 million. He was off by 400,000. This fight probably didn't do more than 500,000. The fact that it is six days later and the number has not been released by HBO means one thing. The number is very low and Arum is trying to get the release of the number delayed until they count every PPV possible.

I am hoping it did about this number..I really dont want anything further to hold up negotiations for a possible Pac/May fight(if he gets throught Mosley)..if its lower than this..I dont see Floyd taking 50/50..

May vs SSM is a must Buy fight. Here we have 2 fighters ready to leave it all in the ring. I think all fight fans know this is really the one to buy!!!!!

Margarito has a lot of issue and might have some trouble renewing his license, Andre Berto would be easier to set a match for Pac. They're both champions in the ww division why not include him as prospect.

hmm well then explain how pacquiao fought de la hoya AFTER Mayweather and didn't even come close to those kinda numbers? Why is Mayweather apart of the highest amount of ppv sales for 1 fight and pac isn't? Maybe that's why you guys want Pac to fight Mayweather so bad. So he can be up there with Mayweather lol.
