I've replayed it 100 times and it still looks like Vit got caught there in the first.

He was motoring away that whole round.

Two bad Corrie was a two round fighter by then.

I like both guys but what they called a slip in the first was Vitali in big trouble.

I can't believe Vit never knocked him down. Tubbs did Rahman did, Machimana did. But Vit didn't.
Yeah Vitali doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as his little brother, either with the right or the left hook. And his jab is not in the same league.

Confidence, chin, composure and movement advantages make up for it though.

With like 27 fights ending inside 2 rounds, that was often enough for Sanders.

That was clearly a push, not a kd. Vitali got immediately and annihilated Sanders.

        Round 1: Sanders 10-9
        Round 2: Vitali 10-9
        Round 3: Vitali 10-9
        Round 4: Vitali 10-9
        Round 5: Vitali 10-8
        Round 6: Vitali 10-9
        Round 7: Vitali 10-9
Round 8: Vitali wins by KO

          I like Vit and Wlad.

They both can punch pretty damn well.

I like Sanders more cuz he did it as a hobby.

One of best heavyweight rounds in years? The first 2+ minutes were awful imo. followed by some sloppy punching near the end.

Vitali did get hit with a solid straight left which briefly stunned him but he smartly moved away to avoid another shot when Sanders pushed him coming off the ropes. There's no way that was a legitimate knock down. Vitali was clear headed and didn't have wobbly legs, which proved how good his chin is because Sanders can **** and that punch would KO 90% of the division, IMO.
