    Vitali vs Sanders round 3

The last minute of this round is insane.

    Great round.

Larry Merchant: "Whoa! This is one of the best heavyweight rounds we have seen in years!"

Vitali/Lennox round 2 was the best heavyweight round of the decade IMO.

Sanders' edge in power is obvious in that round. Too bad he had James Toney's commitment and had a hard time getting big fights.

I felt that was a good fight but I enjoyed Sanders-Wlad much better or the first round of Sanders-V Klitschko.

Sanders was cool and I admire him for not trying that hard and using his natural talent rather than the boring way of working hard to achieve success.
Boxing was just a hobby for him.

Sanders was rarely in bad fights. except maybe the Ross Purrity one.

Vit showed his chin in that fight. He said he'd never been hit that hard before.

        Probably never since either.

They both showed amazing chins. Sanders' left hand is a monster.

I had the privilege of being at that great fight.

Corrie Sanders hands were no joke.

              I've liked him forever man.

I think his management was rather bad for a long time.

Damn shame he couldn't have cashed in earlier.

I probably have 15 of his fights burned.

He actually boxed when he first started off but was still always a counter puncher but when he wanted to finish, he wasn't afraid of going for broke.

I like both guys but what they called a slip in the first was Vitali in big trouble.

I can't believe Vit never knocked him down. Tubbs did Rahman did, Machimana did. But Vit didn't.

Vitali was never knocked down and Sanders was a much more confident and determined fighter when he fought Vitali than he was before the Wlad fight when he struggled with confidence issues that he was treated by a shrink for...
