I was actually enjoying the brief change in threads when this site became Valero scene.com, it was a nice break from all of the Floyd/Pac hooplah.
If figured this overrating was a product of a recent win but this new religion of Valeroism has seemed to have taken hold and as a result produced mass overrating.
Lets look at what he as done, he has 1 good win at 130, 2 decent/good wins at 135 and beaten 24 softies.....that is all in addition to DeMarco really exposing his raw power as more a product of opposition.
Since then and based on his huge accomplishments thus far, I have read conversations where to large an amount of posters favor him over guys like JMM, Bradley, Alexander, and I have yes read Pac too.
Realistically he has not even proven to be world class at 135 and now he is beating proven world class guys at 140 and beyond? at this point I would call him vs Juan Diaz a pick'em fight and Paulie would absolutely tool him.
I actually do like Valero but c'mon, his record consisting of mostly soft opposition in Venezuela doesn't make him that great.
Lets give him some time before he start calling him "the next Pacquiao", which I have heard him referred to on here.
